Assumption of Risk and Release of Liability
I understand that risks are involved in physical activities such as dance, tumbling, and fitness that may result in serious injury or death. I hereby release United Dance Center LLC, United Preschool Center LLC, and all staff members and officials from any claims for damages or injuries suffered by the registered participant in connection with participation in activities associated with United Dance Center LLC and United Preschool Center LLC. This release extends to my heirs and any individuals who may act on our behalf.
Photo Release: I give permission for photos of my student/participant to be used online (including the website, Facebook, and other social media platforms) or in advertisements.
Tuition: I understand that tuition is determined on an annual basis and is not prorated monthly. Some months have more classes than others due to holidays, extra practices, longer or shorter months, and other scheduling factors. Tuition is not discounted for missed classes, and make-up classes are not offered.
I understand that tuition is due on the 1st of each month. A $10.00 late fee will be assessed for all payments made after the 7th of the month.
I understand that all United accounts are set up on Auto-Pay. Auto-payments are withdrawn on the 1st of each month (September through May). Any account with a balance due on the 1st of the month will be charged automatically for the amount due.
I understand that if I choose to pay by credit card through the online portal, a 3% processing fee will be charged per transaction. There is no processing fee for ACH transactions.
I understand that no refunds are given for any reason. Tuition will not be reduced for missed classes, regardless of the reason for the absence. I also understand that if tuition is late, the student will not be permitted to participate in class until the account is brought current, unless prior arrangements have been made with the studio office.
I understand that all balances on my account must be paid in full before costumes will be distributed or before my student may perform. If my account becomes 90 days past due, it may be sent to collections.
Registration Fee:
Monthly Tuition: (School Year Season) All accounts will be charged on the 1st of each month from September through May. All accounts are required to remain on Auto-Pay and will automatically be charged for any outstanding account balance on the 1st of each month.
A $10.00 late fee will be applied after the 7th of each month for accounts with an unpaid balance, unless prior arrangements have been made with the studio office.
Every student receives 33 instructional classes per course throughout the season (August 17th–May 22nd), as well as the following events, all of which are included in tuition:
Although we closely follow the Alpine School District calendar, we do not follow it exactly. We continue holding classes on days such as Teacher Work Days, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and Presidents' Day for those who are able to attend.
To make tuition more manageable for families, the total season tuition is divided into equal monthly installments. Because the season begins in mid-August, August tuition is charged at half of the regular monthly tuition rate. The remaining season balance is then divided into equal monthly installments.
Monthly tuition remains the same regardless of how many classes occur in a particular month and is not prorated.
Tuition Fees
Class Attendance: Consistent class attendance is extremely important. One student's absence affects the entire class; therefore, all students are expected to attend class each week and arrive on time. Students are expected to commit to the class in which they are enrolled for the entire school year.
If your student must miss class, we ask that you notify us in advance. We do not offer make-up classes because each class learns a unique recital routine and curriculum. Tuition will not be discounted for missed classes.
Withdrawal Policy: I understand that if a student/participant needs to withdraw from a class, the parent or guardian must submit a written withdrawal notice to United Dance Center. Please include the reason for the class withdrawal.
Monthly tuition is posted on the 1st of each month. Withdrawal requests must be submitted prior to the 1st of the upcoming month to avoid additional tuition charges. Verbal notices or text messages will not be accepted. Refunds are not given if a student withdraws from a class.
Costume Fees for Recreational Dance Classes: I understand that all dancers will participate in both the Winter Recital and Spring Recital. Costume fees are $65.00 per student, per dance class, for each recital.
Competition Dancers: Please refer to the competition team packet for team pricing and policies.

- Registration Fee: $40.00 per family (first child) plus $20.00 per additional child.
- No registration fee is due for summer camps.
- August classes begin on August 17th.
- Half-month tuition for August is due at registration for all recreational classes.
- All registration fees are non-refundable.
